The Oatmeal

This is how I make my oatmeal. It’s good. It makes one serving.

Ingredients

  • 40 g rolled oats (not quick or instant)

  • 1 tiny box of raisins

  • 1 li’l envelope of Splenda

  • 1 tbsp salted butter

  • Large pinch of kosher salt

  • Ground cinnamon to taste

  • Some (whole) milk

  • Vanilla extract to taste

Instructions

Add all of the dry ingredients to your serving bowl. Add milk to almost cover. Stir and cover the bowl with a damp paper towel. Microwave at 50% power for 6 minutes.

Remove the bowl from the microwave—it may be very hot.

If needed, add milk and microwave again to achieve your desired texture.

Stir in vanilla extract to taste before enjoying.
